iPhone 15 release date
The suspense has finally been lifted: Apple has scheduled a presentation event for Tuesday 12 September 2023 at 7pm (Paris time). As well as the long-awaited release of the iPhone 15, the event is expected to showcase the latest additions to the Apple Watch Series 9, as well as the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra.
Apple usually releases its latest iPhones around a week and a half after they are officially announced. The phones will be available around Friday 22 September 2023. If you're interested in these models, the wait shouldn't be very long !
The design of iPhone 15
In terms of appearance, all four iPhone 15 models will adopt the design of the iPhone 14 Pro.
Screens with thinner edges
Aesthetics fans are in for a treat, especially those who opt for the 'Pro' models. Rumours suggest that the iPhone 15 will feature thinner edges, giving the screen an even more elegant appearance. This reduction in borders should offer an even better immersive visual experience.
The switch to USB-C
The first big news to hit the headlines is the replacement of the Lightning port with a USB-C port. This marks a significant change for Apple, as the Lightning port has been a constant feature since its introduction with the iPhone 5 in 2012. The adoption of USB-C could mean wider compatibility with other devices and faster charging.
Major Photographic Improvements
